I am the youngest of three kids raised by a single mom in the eighties. She was always focused on healthy food for us. This was way before Whole Foods and Trader Joe's even existed. We shopped at a co-op where everything was natural, we even ground our own peanut butter! This is where my passion for foods in their whole, natural form comes from. I've eaten healthy and not so healthy but my goal is to make your favorite foods delicious and nutritious!
The world is full of too much plastic! I can't watch another video with a fish's belly full of undigested plastic and don't even get me started on micro-plastics! MeMu is dedicated to using recycled and compostable products. We will only have reusable plastics if necessary. This is how we can save the world, one cookie at a time.
Whenever possible we will focus on only using foods that have been responsibly farmed, organic or with local producers. We prefer to partner with like minded vendors and locals who share our views on preserving the planet and its resources. Here at MeMu we want to give back to the community as well. Every week our day old foods will be used to feed the homeless at a pop-up event called Feed Me Fridays. MeMu will feed anyone who needs it and we will accept donations too.
All of the money collected goes to Feed Me Fridays fund to purchase food to serve to the homeless at a pop-up tent every Friday.
